What's the difference between J3 and J2?
J2 is a heavy-cut compound for deep scratches and heavy oxidation. J3 is a medium-cut compound with finer abrasives — it eliminates swirl marks left by coarse polishing and handles moderate scratches. Use J2 first, then J3 for refinement.
Do I still need J5 after using J3?
J3 produces good gloss on its own. For a true mirror finish, follow with J5 Mirror Finish Restorer. The J3→J5 sequence is the professional standard for show-car quality.
Which pad works best with J3?
